Listen to my interview on WUKY's online arts magazine "Tonic" - April 13, 2007

http://www.wuky.org/tonic.html

RIght as I was finally finishing my CD, Stacey from WUKY emailed and asked if I could compose an instrumental theme song for their new online arts magazine she and Kopana were putting together. I said "sure" and asked her what she thought about the direction of a song I loved on Glenn Tilbrook's last CD , Transatalantic PingPong, called "One For the Road". She said it was perfect, so I sat down at the computer and wrote a funky piece in the same vein. When I labeled it "surf cool", the name stuck and the theme was born. I put it as a bonus track on the CD, and there you have it. The interview also has live versions of Smokescreen and All in My Head, plus lots of witty reparte (at least, Kopana's master editing makes us SOUND witty...!) Check it out, plus all the other great stuff on the Tonic site. Thanks! http://www.wuky.org/tonic.html

Thanks to you all for your support! - March 29, 2007

Many heartfelt thanks to those of you who have taken the time to visit my site and buy a CD. I really appreciate it, and I hope you're enjoying the music. I got the CD up for sale, then immediately got busy with a huge project for my daughter, and am just now getting around to promoting the CD. I'll be taping a show tomorrow for WUKY's online arts magazine called "Tonic" and will post that link when it's available. I"m also slated to go NKU to tape a similar radio show up there April 21. Right now the only live gigs I'm playing are with the Bats. Haven't quite figured out how to play my new stuff on just acoustic guitar yet! Keep checking back in....

Almost done - January 14, 2007

Yes, for the masses anxiously awaiting "Soul of a Spy", I'm almost done. Still listening to the master. After this I think I'll just post 'em as soon as I'm done, like everyone else does.

What's with the martini glasses? - December 20, 2006

Okay, so I picked this website design, but now that I look more closely, I see the little martini glasses in the background. Kids, don't drink martinis.

CD Release in January 2007 - December 20, 2006

Finally, I've finished my second CD! Yes, the very format that is dissappearing as I type, but I had to have something to sell at gigs. It will have an insert to take out so you can read the lyrics. It will have full-color printing and moody photographs. It will also have some cool music that will grab you the first time you hear it, and then take you a few listens to get it all. The last two years I mostly listened to Aimee Mann and Green Day, if that gives you any indication what kinds of sounds you might hear. And though I"m trying to be funny here, I'm not really too funny on the CD, except maybe a few times. I actually had one great fan who said he liked my last CD a lot, but a few songs were a bit too "sunny" for him...he likes gloom-and-doom, all the time. I think he will like this CD, except for the three sunny songs, but that's only the music. The lyrics remain gloomy. Yay! It's called "Soul of a Spy". Buy one song or buy them all. I"ll post the link very shortly....
